About

Spencer Marco (he/him) is an avid creative, constantly moving between projects in art, animation, literature, and whatever else he sets his mind to. He also has a lifelong passion for music, with over a decade of experience playing all sorts of instruments, notably his beloved ukulele and tuba. Marco finds much comfort in his creative work and uses his platforms as a way to share resources and personal experiences with mental health, identity, personal growth, and more that may prove insightful to others. Above all though, throughout everything he does, he hopes that his work reaches those who need it. Our world is often overwhelming, and we may often feel out of control and lost, but there is so much comfort in knowing change is always possible. We deserve to be safe. We deserve to be loved. We always do.

Marco graduated with a bachelor’s degree in French and a minor in music from San Francisco State University and is now pursuing a master’s degree in French and Francophone Studies at the University of Victoria. His work centers on transidentity in children’s picture books, a subject very dear to his heart as a queer, trans, neurodivergent racialized man.

His work in art and animation has attracted a warm community of supporters, and he hopes the same love will follow with the rest of his up-and-coming projects.
